FINALE

CONGRATULATIONS! on completing your journey to the King! We hope you enjoyed the quest -- and maybe even learned a thing or two along the way.

Did you know that this story is NOT totally fiction? It's an allegory. That means it parallels something real. Just as in the kingdom of Kaleo, our journey to meet God is impossible without help. We can never be good enough to keep that dragon called sin away. Jesus Christ, God's Son, paid the penalty for our sin on the cross -- a great and awesome sacrifice for us. It is only by trusting and believing in Jesus that we can meet God.

Our story parallels what a real person can experience in their life if they persist, trust, and ultimately believe. And the journey starts in your own heart, the village damaged by the dragon Vyle - or rather damaged by sin, which is wrong doing, wrong thinking, and basically living for ourselves rather than God.

In our story, your quest to meet the King takes you away from the village to places like Karnivale, where you experience all this world has to offer. But all the temptations of pleasure, greed, fame and success are empty -- and they can ultimately trap you.

In the forest, you learn that living a worldly life -- aware of sin but unwilling to deal with it -- is a dead end that can result in fear and ignorance. At Pride's Peak you discover that your own efforts to reach God only result in never reaching the king at all.

It's not until you understand these things that you come to the quiet place -- the place of close relationship and total dependence on your Friend, Shepherd and Guide, Jesus. Because of His love for you, in obedience to God, His Father, He made a way for you to reach the King! By putting your trust in Jesus Christ alone you will experience Salvation! And then you can look forward to spending ETERNITY with God in heaven!
